Hear Jonker Walk speaks for the 1st day of Malacca Road-Trip.
Subscribed a 2 days sun tanned therapy, prowling under the hot blazing Malacca's sun with extra blushing-red cheeks. The road-trip was beyond my imaginations and expectations; it amazed me just like how the part in 90210, where Ivy and Raj lied on the grass waiting for the plane's air rush brushes against their skins amazed me :) I have been caught up in piled up work that comprised of assignments and presentations lately, and decided that I jst needed a short sabbatical. Everything has been running too fast around me, got me tripping and harden my breathing. I just need some reaaaaally good, rest time.
God heard my call, and granted me with this therapy full of zeal :)
The Tamadun Islam & Asia assignment group decided to give Malacca a short visit, or so we called it as a fieldtrip on the 19th & 20th of February. Or in my dictionary, I classified it as a road-trip (which actually turned out to be a short vacation for me). A BAD-ASS, HAPHAZARD ROAD-TRIP ♥ Started off with the gathering of 21 of us in University of Malaya, and started a convoy, which in my context of what really happened that day was; my car was the only one who got off the convoy and literally got lost during the trip. All hail to my favourite driver of all time; *coughs* Haikal *insert sarcastic tone here please*. The King of Oblivious just couldn't be bothered to throw off his throne. Oh boy, this young man always give us a major migraine but we still love him. Talk about best friends. Hahaha ;) The whole getting lost journey actually put a silly smile and guffaw on my face; seeing Pakka who cursed like a real certified bitch 24-7 and Alin who just doesn't care whatever happens outside her iPod earplug, and of course Haikal; the King of Oblivious and Chillness. I made that another meaning of Joy in my dictionary ♥
This was about a year ago. 2 homegirls, 2 homeboys; Riri, Luqman & Alip. Scored an epic history in the car while we were on the way to the South of Peninsula ;) I was a dark dirty-reddish blonde, I sniffed on laughing gas, I was bitchier than I am now and my eyebrows are pretty. Click here for the old post on this road-trip.
And now, 2 homegirls and 2 homeboys; again. Haikal, Pakka & Alin ♥ Best car companions ever despite the constant arguments and getting dodgy lost. Ohh, and the awkward car positions that will make me screamed at my highest pitch, also singing and humming to Barbra Streisand's Duck Sauce; blasting it like there is no tomorrow. And the most epic one of all; kicking Haikal's ass like bajillion times while sleeping :3 I am so cute like that, oh please :p Hahhahahaha!

We made a pit stop at Jonker Walk, in Malacca Town. Get done with the Baba & Nyonya Cultural Assignment. Teamed up with Alin, Jannah, Nusi & Cha :) We literally soaked ourselves up the Sun (oh boy, who could ever imagine that Malacca could be so hot, even hotter than KL?) that I had to buy a strawhat to lessen the heat. So, If you plan to visit and walk around Malacca, I suggest you wear just a pair of tank top and hot pants, together with your shades and strawhat. Unless you want to be flooded in your own sweat, which is a total eew. By the way, managed to devour myself with the Jonker Walk's signature Sherbets! The strawberry sherbet is mouth-watering, I swear! :9
Malacca Town reminds me of countries like Vietnam, Myanmar, etc. Classic, very vintage, I just fell in love with the old structure architecture and multifaceted culture and faces around; it brings out the inner fine-art lover in me. Cornyyyy, but true enough. It was like local Italy! Totally amused me, got my jar dropped while I was busy ignoring the heat :) Anyways, this is random but, the environment made me feel like dancing to French Phoenix's 1901, very classic and adorable ;)

Ending it with a picture of my darling's Megan Foxes ;) You have to read the next post on how the warm sea breeze brushes against my face while riding on Nusi's superbike (Y)
Loves, xx
