#81: Pixie Dust Weekend!

I am actually one of those victims of being constantly inspired everytime I flipped through fashion magazines or just a simple, creative art-based magazines (in my case; I just couldn't get enough of the NYLON Magazine) or everytime I browsed through creative, artistic, fashion blogs or websites. I couldn't help it but to constantly falling in love looking at silk scarves, feather boas, or so the textures of them. My brain will start to plan, imagine, simmer everything within my touch with creativity! :) That's actually when I started soaking myself into this dandy mood of going out and do something creative (or just shopping in my case!). And I named it my Pixie Dust weekend! ;)

On Saturday, I attended this PreLOVE Party event in Shah Alam; organized by the Old Blossom Box (owned by Jezmine Blossom), collaborated with a few other Malaysian Fashionistas. Basically, they gathered their old clothes (explained the PreLove term :P) which are still usable (of course) and pretty (like really they are), and sell them at much lower prices! Some look really vintage which made them even prettier and worth buying! Macarons were also sold there :D Definitely a place for Fashion lovers to gather :) I met the ever so lovely and gorgeous (which I call her my Fashion Guru for her being constantly inspiring me with this whole fashion thing); Amal Haziqah! ♥ She coloured her hair with few straps of golden brownish hues which looked perfect on her, adding a touch of classy maturity on her! *gasp* I just love it! I, on the other hand.. looked like a total minimalist among all of them :/ Black jumpsuit with a few accessories. But she said I looked divine as ever and even more sophisticated nowadays (typical Capricorn!). I guess, I can't detach the classy, sophisticated tag off me (not that I dislike it, but.. I'm just 20! I'm supposed to look young, fresh, quirky? Oh well, keeping it for my 40 year old self! :p). Anyways, ended up buying a turquoise top (with soft frills) and a high-waisted pants!

On Sunday, another event (which was a bless for all Fashion lovers), was held in Empire Gallery Subang. The Fashion Bloggers Rehab in Stellar located at one of the studio apartment there. To be honest, I felt a little downgraded once I stepped into the place. Beautiful girls wearing hijabs everywhere looking so fashionable! (making me look like an ugly piece of shit). It was like a place where all the high-end, upper class girls gather! Like those high class hijab girls, very classy! :D Totally loving the whole atmosphere. Anyhowever, the highlight of the event (for me) was obviously getting to meet the most beautiful fashion designer alive; Hana Tajima Simpson! ♥ She's a goddess with hijab, my jaw just dropped! I fell in love with her cheeky smile, she's so God darn adorable, please! ;p And ooh, I get to meet my other favourite Malaysian Fashionista (also my current idol); Mas Angelina! OMG, she's just so God darn gorgeous, and just so so so super nice that I almost faint ;) Such a beautiful scene with such beautiful people! (LOL, I actually wanted to wear a hijab after looking at them, but oh well, do not want to wear it for the wrong reason, so.. shall just see how this leads..)
