Selamat Hari Raya, folks! ;)
This is supposedly my Pre-Raya post, which, I totally do not have any idea how to sum it up? I don't quite fancy Raya this year so, there is not much excitement. You know how excitement and the eager and enthusiasm to make a proper blog post correlates. Yeah it is directly proportional in the sense of graph interpretation. Pardon me for writing in such educational way. I am more pumped up to start the new university semester compared to talking about oh-how-wonderful-my-raya-was. Yeah, really no kidding.
Anyhow, Raya this year was just okay. Would rate it as 2 out of 5 stars. Sad. My Raya preparation was at the worst stage. I went scouting for kurung last minute through the ocean of bazillion people in Jalan TAR KL, which.. was a flop. All sweaty and annoyed by few uncivilized people. Then, I went to Shah Alam alone with my sister. God, so much better than Jalan TAR please! Like, the designs are prettier or was it just me who ended up buying a chiffon kurung from a boutique -.- Yeah, definitely just me. Anyhow, decided to own a pair of 6 inches nude colored gladiator heels. Yeah a 5 ft 7 like me adding 6 more inches to self, but I felt so darn good.
Okay nuff said. So, was supposed to go back to Johor this year because we received an important invitation from the istana, but then it got cancelled last minute because the istana was still on renovation. Yeah -.- I'm like -.- Yeah, there goes my Raya, there goes my H&M Singapore. So, stayed in KL, Raya with the usual faces.
Started attending friends' open houses like nobody's business because I just needed to kill time before the new university semester starts. So, had like mini reunion for high school friends, matrics friends and also UM friends. That was joy! :D
Aezlisya's was first, then attended Alethea's Surprise Farewell Party in Armada Hotel, PJ with Suzanna and Salini. The next day was Saliza's Birthday and Arina's in the night at TTDI. Went to Arina's with Luqman, Muaz, Hazwan 'Hazeq' and Jeng :p Lol, being the only girl in the bunch always makes me look like a total bimbo because they will start to pick on me. Epic fail in differentiating Hazeq and Hazwan. May God bless me! Hahahha :p And everyone was tweeting to each other, IN THE CAR! Yeah, Twitter obsessed bunch of people, tsk tsk ahahaha :p The next day, met all of my favourite cousins, then Baem & Muz picked me to Alin's place. Met Qeela there too. Ended the week by giving Salini a Surprise Farewell Celebration, just a simple get-together with the high school friends and also Salini's college mates, played board games, had pizza and talked all day :) Awwwwh seriously, seeing all these lovely familiar faces just ahh, gave me a touch of warmth. Love!
I used my weekends to shop like mad. Surprisingly, my pay is still a 3 digit in the bank account ahahaha. I did my college preparation shopping! Bought male t-shirts for myself (no, it's not because I wanna look as though I am wearing my boyfriend's t-shirt sorta stuff, just because they're so cute and comfortable), also a few tops from Forever 21, ahh and this really cute nude cropped pullover for my lazy days! Also, finally, a Varsity Jacket (Y) I did my stationery shopping too! God, Semester 3 better be goooood :p
So, that's about it. Btw, I am typing from my work desk. Yes, hi people, you are looking at a crazy workaholic. I decided to extend my job for another week. I got assigned to a different position that is.. at the front desk. Tayang muka, goyang kaki, weehooo :D My colleagues were like "Ohh dah naik pangkat :p" But.. I miss my old department! :/ Like seriously. Because I dont have much work to do, zzzzz. Anyhow, sorry for drowning all of you in my boring post.
