#133: You give me no reason;
- I graduated with a BSc. (Hons) Applied Geology from University of Malaya (will not talk about the convocation as it was dull as hell, not even exaggerating)
- Spent my 5 months of unemployment earlier this year by lingering around the house being emotional like super emotional about life although I have already signed my job offer letter
- And also a lot of roadtripping and hipster coffee lingering… basically just a lot of spending money but none of making them! (that reminds me of maybe I should post about my Pantai Timur Roadtrip that I had mmhmm)
- Ohh did I tell? I mean of course I have to mention and highlight this one out. I cried for 5months too! Was heartbroken as hell just because the guy that I like, doesn’t return mutual feelings. I guess I am not good enough for him? Oh cut the chase! I should have just stayed in my league, which is pretty much a higher league than his. Sadly, I could not open my eyes to all of these facts, thus the overly downpour like fucking Niagara Falls out from my eyes. (And yes I should post something on this too since I have heard a lot of “things” like really bad things about me have been going on behind my back. Wow! What a tacky move why why why you do really surprise me!)
- Started working as a M/LWD Field Engineer for Drilling Services in Baker Hughes in June. That was the breaking point for me. They sent me to Houston, United States of America & Dubai, United Arab Emirates. I was there for 3 months, and it was hell’a rad! Phenomenal.
- And I have started my rotation for working offshore too. I am surprisingly enjoying it.

#124: That magic is making me blush!
- I am finally done with my internship as a Technical Support Engineer Trainee under Drilling Services with one of the best oil and gas service company; Baker Hughes Inc. And I gained so much experiences and also friends (of all ages). Such a golden exposure (I was given the opportunity to go to Labuan for a drilling training!). Was indeed the luckiest girl! I actually went back there a week after I’m done, for a quick lunch with the HR and Sara, and gave the department a short visit (because I have been missing them so much!). So grateful that we’re like a family in the department :)
- My 5th semester just started :D Pretty rough in the beginning, but slowly coping up with all of the subjects, adjusting my (overly) love towards the oil and gas engineering industry back into geology. Repaired my relationships with people, friends around. So, I am currently doing good :)
- Started on my thesis or final year project (FYP) already! Decided to venture into the oil and gas field (of course), so took the opportunity to do a project based on well log analysis and petrophysics. It has always amazed me how a friend of mine in Baker Hughes interpret data petrophysically, and now I have the chance to! So, I am very excited to see where this is going to take me. Although, I had a down moment while doing my thesis proposal when there’s a few who totally psycho-ed me down, but hey I’m all good, yeap Tasya as always.
- Attended the Juniors’ Interaction Day with the 2nd Years. I came as a 3rd year senior buddy this time. How time flies, right? It still feels like it was just yesterday that I was in that hall, sitting as a 1st year junior with my 3rd year buddy; Kak Tety, and was amused by how she could achieved such high CGPA and be so successful in whatever she’s currently doing. And now, here I am, sitting and surrounded by my 1st year juniors; Thevetia, Maziah, In, Ariff, Zariq and Afiq! And, that is exactly how they felt towards me now. I guess, all of my hard work is slowly paying off now, ahhh what a relieve, Alhamdulillah ;)
- Yes, that time of the year again! It’s the famous UM Law Mock Trial, yaaay! This year’s mock trial has a theme of “Gampang”, presenting few fresh and familiar faces. The most exciting part was when a friend of mine; Imran Osman is actually one of the casts! Overall, this year’s mock trial was good, not disappointing but a bit blunt compared to last year’s. Still prefer last year’s, but hey there’s always room for improvement right? I’m sure next year’s will be reaaaally good! Btw, good job, Team 2012! Can’t wait to attend next year’s. Shahrul Akmal, you’re gonna get me 10 tickets!!!
- Yeap, I also attended my first Majlis Anugerah Dekan :D Was so excited and felt so touched and grateful for it, especially when our Head of Department; Dr. Ng came and said that he is proud to have this much of students on the Dean’s List. He is forever such a sweetheart :’)
- We gave Trump a surprise birthday celebration (again) this year! I have to say that Trump is one very lucky guy as he always has this bunch of friends around him that will always appreciate him as a friend; always. Lucky boy! Thanks Siti and Ika for conducting such a cute celebration at The Bee, Publika :) Happy Birthday again, Zulhisyam Zaibuddin (you will forever be my favourite best friend ehehe). Later after that, I had my lepak session with my boys at Pelita Bangsar, oh God, how I’ve missed such late night sessions up til 5 in the morning. Haikal’s idea, as crazy as always!
- What else? Oh yes. I am shortlisted for the Conoco Phillips (an oil and gas company) Award/Reward/Scholarship! :D My dream is almost achieved, Syukur Alhamdulillah. I want (need) this so bad, I hope I’ll get to attend the Petroleum Geology workshop next week and get picked. This is such a huge deal for me, oh well, for me to have a much brighter future. So, please, insyaAllah, aamiiinnn :)
- I CUT MY HAIR SHORT BY THE WAY! And met my former high school classmates for Jeyapriya’s 21st Birthday Party in PJ. Ohh, Assuntarians get prettier as we aged ♥

#111: To be happy about.

I really need this.
Semester 3 ended really bad except for the fact that my results were again; the only thing that never fail to amaze me. Friendship on the rocks, few broken, gained some new ones, trust broken, anger took most of myself, and majorly filled with disappointments; just pure unforgivable disappointments.
I was all so demotivated to start my 4th semester. Maybe it’s because of how tragic the 3rd semester ended. Too disappointed to even care about starting a new one. But I finally picked up the pieces, put aside my anger and disappointments because honestly, I don’t find any of these will help me lead to a better life.
Anyways, I actually happened to clean my old files and I found a paper that my gang used to scribble during the Science & Technology Lecture in the 1st semester. I still remember how close all 8 of us were. We used to sit at the most back row in lecture, camwhored and ate junk food all the way in class; also scribbled papers around. I miss how we used to go everywhere with each other, have weekly dinner and pick adorable fights among one another over dinner and also facebook comments! Ahh, how we used to go out and have a movie night and lepak til late night. We were like this perfect bunch just like that pictured in How I Met Your Mother and That ‘70s Show. Then stuffs started to happen, driftings, detachments. We’re still close, but I’m not gonna lie that we aren’t as close as we used to be. Honestly, it is sad and it hurts to see how we are all detaching.
Not going to point my finger to anyone. I do not know who is at fault. Choices like these are always in the hands of that person. I just want to remind that, as mean as I may look, I always put my friends as my priority because I hate backstabbing. And boys & girls, the 7 of you will be the friends that I swear in the name of God, that I would never back stab. I’ll do and sacrifice whatever to save any of your asses from trouble and swear, will get you out of trouble.
Just something that I guess I should say it out. Have a pleasant semester! (while I hope mine will build back its own way oh well, this is me sighing)

#108: Rabbit Heart.

Honestly, as I’m writing this, I am still figuring on how to wrap up my 2011 in such a short post and how to deliver the right words on my exact feelings about it.
My 2011 has been the best so far. It sounds cliché, but that’s just weirdly very true. You know how I started off my 2011.. it was pretty dark with the thoughts of it’s going to be another gloomy year ahead, no colours in it. Semester 2 was pretty harsh on me. The drama, the abandon, the unspoken words, the tangles, the shattered hopes, everything just too harsh and hard except for the last day of it with the unexpected euphoric surprises (and also the way off-charts high pointers). That last day was the only thing that made sunshine seems possible.
In the middle of the year, my luck starts to turn the other way round. Started off with my high pointer, everything after that managed to make me believe that happiness is possible this year. My part-time job, the offers and the salary. Although, there were times that kicked me so hard that I almost shatter down; but.. as time passes by, everything just work by its own, slowly graduating from gloomy to much brighter days.
Then, came the 3rd semester. It started just good. There were ups and downs. It was pretty rough at first until I managed to make decisions. I am by far, the worst decision maker ever. But, to my surprise, the decisions that I made lately, they’re the ones that turn my frowns upside down. I lost a few people in my life, but then I learned that I actually have found a few that are just too precious! My smiles are then gradually turning into grins all the way til the end of the year.
My December was the best month. It has never happened that way before because everytime towards my birthday, things will start to crumble, but not this year; not at all. I am so content with the decisions made and whatever happened especially with the man i love ;)
I’m so happy I can’t even express it in words!
So, my conclusion about 2011? Probably the best year so far. Taught me tough life lessons and this post will remind me of how strong I could be everytime I feel like I’m at my lowest point in life. This post will also remind me that I am actually really stronger standing off alone sometimes and everything happens for a reason, yes they do.

#103: Til I catch you again;

Those little acts that secrete joy in me.
My mood of sharing my feelings with the rest of the world on the internet does not come that often lately although I’ve been feeling really happy ¾ of most weeks that I’ve been through, or maybe some of them were just off-the-charts kind of happiness where I would describe it as the satisfaction you felt when you run around a wide field full of colourful flowers and laugh away in total joy and just drop your body flat on the ground, breathing those warm air.. I just can’t seem to find the way to share my happiness with other people. And honestly, for me to get this kind of happiness comes like only maybe once in 3 years or so.
So, here I am, telling the whole world.. Yes you and you and you and you and you you you youuuu!! That.. I am a very happy person although I can get very emotional at times, but most of the time, I am very happy and I am very content with what I have and going through right now. I even enjoy arguments, yes, peculiar, but I do. Oh well, I’m really weird and that is how things work around me.

#101: We talked love but they say it sounds crazy.
I smiled when you speak. Imagine a scenario where you get to sit with the person you love the most and talked about your feelings to each other. Lovely? But, that’s not really my story ;)
It is really crazy when things just happened unexpectedly. You had 3 great days in a row. You mend what’s been broken. You gained trust even more. You met new faces and they became the few types you can keep. You go through this bliss you felt everytime you see newlywed couples guffawing in joy. And then, the next thing you know, everything went back to how they’re supposed to be and awkwardness doesn’t seem possible in any ways anymore because you actually sat and talked your heart out. Just insanely amazing.
We find it really tangling us up when there’s unanswered doubts choking every inch of veins inside of us. Our lips sealed them up. The problem with us is.. we love assuming things without even asking. And the problem with assuming is.. it’s just destructive. It is. It eats you up. We’re still having such tough times to clear things that weren’t even supposed to be lingering and choking ourselves up. What happened to being able to communicate wisely and maturely when we grow up?
Communication. As easy as it sounds, but, really, they’re not. Writing about this is definitely easier than saying this to a face. Although this is the first thing that we learned in life, ironically, as we grow through it, learn our words and really start talking, the tougher it becomes to know exactly what to say or.. how to ask for what we really need. Sad, but very true.
Does this coagulates with the ego that grew together with our age? Or is it just a pure coincidence?
Because, I kind of made myself won a 70% of the war between what I really want and the ego in me. I don’t find communicating with someone that hard, so, in my case, I would point my finger to my ego. Monday blues slapped me hard, and I actually said and asked for what I wanted to know all this while. Surprisingly, the answers gave me this really weird joy. I was literally smiling at all the wrong times like I was high on cocaine or something and just still smiling even at hard times. There’s this point when I was really terrified with myself because I have never felt this happy and amazing before :’)
The point is, if we ignore the ego that’s been haunting us all this while and believe that we can communicate mature enough, we will walk through it finely. At least, it’s better to know the truth although at times it may be harsh, but that’s so much better than to live in such regrets! If you have doubts, ASK. Don’t keep it because if you keep it, it will eat you and you will be very sad and no one in this life wants to live in doubts and sadness and regrets til the end of the life.
I’m just sharing my point of view because they worked for me and I just thought that it would be lovely to share it with my readers :) Have a great day!

#93: Faster than my bullet.

Those little joys are the reasons that I wake up with a smile plastered on me almost every day now.
Those warm smiles. Those familiar acts. Those adorable stares. Those morning wishes. Those inevitable teases. Those random talks. Those little details.
Maybe, absolutely maybe baby, things are turning the other way round. Luck is switching the other way round. Love sprinkled around. Sour and salty changing to only sweet. Tears are laughter. Annoyance is cupcakes with sweet cream cheese. Sadness is a ray of sunshine, trying to bloom hydrangeas. Stress means a cup of good brewed coffee. Jealousy is a kick from Coke’s carbonated gases. Sad songs changed to electro mixed pop cultures. Heartbreaks sound like birds chirping early in the morning. Disappointment is replaced with good indie songs turned on loud in the car. Goodbyes lead to only more happy hellos. Dandy will be the only word to describe every day despite the bad things.
I pray that my life after this will be these.
*imagining myself in the bus, on the way to our fieldworks, listening to laid back music by Peter Bjorn & John and also Foster The People* This is such a warm joy.
This is the start of my so called 500 Days of Summer.
